Sprouts Party Chef
Job Description:
Like to cook? Love kids? Have some extra personality to share? You're just what we are looking for!
We are looking for enthusiastic, hands-on and culinary savvy people to teach culinary classes for private birthday parties. Professional culinary training and experience is not required, but a knowledge of the culinary basics is key! All lesson plans are catered to your skill set, interest, and the preference of the birthday kid!
Sprouts Party Chef. Whatcha gotta do?
• Phone or in-person meeting the birthday kid and their parents to discuss menu plan, ingredient, and equipment needs.
• Submission of a grocery list to client, along with a timeline of the culinary class
• Teaching a hands-on cooking class with the help of a Sprouts culinary assistant. Cooking time appx. 90 minutes. Eating and cleaning up appx. 30 minutes
• Submission of a summary description to Sprouts director, Karen Rogers
Each class is two and a half hours long, not including set up and clean up time.
Time Commitment:
This position requires flexibility on the weekends and Friday evenings from January 2012 - July 2012.
Compensation:
$50 per class, which includes transportation, consultation, set-up, class, and transportation of basic pantry items and equipment for party
