Sprouts Cooking Club’s After School Cooking Series!
Join Us In Creating the Next Generation of Healthy Chefs!
Combining farm fresh ingredients, instruction from Sprouts’ trained chefs, and creative recipes highlighting seasonal offerings from around the Bay Area, Sprouts’ after-school enrichment program provides interactive, hands-on cooking classes right in your classroom or community center.
Our farm-to-fork curriculum teaches students where their food comes from and allows them to gain a foundation of culinary skills, while building inclusive communities at the same time. Exploring local produce and organic ingredients sourced from our partner farms and food purveyors, students work together to prepare and share dishes that are both delicious and nutritious.
Sprouts is dedicated to giving every child the experience of a positive connection to whole food and empowering them to cook for themselves and their families. Bring us to your school and be a part of creating memories in the kitchen every week!
All of our menus will be determined by the season`s best and inspired by the world’s favorite flavors! We’ll be cooking with Capay Valley and Riverdog farm-fresh produce to make dishes like Italian ravioli and tortellini, North African tajines, Greek phyllo wraps, French ratatouille, and Spanish tapas! Your child will learn the basics of cooking at home, discover the flavors and cultures of new recipes, and gain confidence to cook for family and friends!
