The Jamie Oliver Team: Remote Internships for UC Berkeley Students
February 20th to August 20th, 2012, 8-15 hours a week

This internship allows UC Berkeley students to make a difference in the way America eats and work directly with Jamie Oliver’s team at their London headquarters all the while living and balancing an academic schedule at Berkeley.
The entire internship is project-based and can be done from your laptop in Berkeley at any location of choice.
As you work with your Jamie Oliver Team contact, you will see, first-hand, how a successful, intra-national non-profit works all the while gaining experience working with nutrition and food policy. Tasks will range from nutrition and recipe research, data analysis, community out-reach to like-minded businesses, JO Facebook page updates, and secretarial tasks. Hours: This internship requires a minimum of 8 hours a week, with a maximum of 15 hours a week. Each Friday, a Time Sheet with daily hours and task completion will be submitted to JO Team Member Contact.
Interns must be able to work with Excel spreadsheets, Google Docs, Facebook and have public relations and marketing skills. This position offers no monetary compensation. Rather, it will allow you to strengthen your resume, establish contacts with the JO Team, and introduce you of social change and non- profits. This internship can lead to letters of recommendation from JO Team Members and offer priceless contacts within the Jamie Oliver Team and the Bay Area culinary scene.

The Jamie Oliver Team: Public Outreach and Nutritional Education Internship for UC Berkeley Students
2012 Rolling, 6 weeks, full-time, unpaid
“The perfect internship for a nutrition-centric and community-oriented UC Berkeley student passionate about the Slowfood movement and the Jamie Oliver Food Revolution” – Karen Rogers, Director of Sprouts Cooking Club, Founder of Cal Cooking Club, Berkeley Alum
This internship allows UC Berkeley students to make a difference in the way America eats, live abroad, and work directly with the largest food revolution incubator, Jamie Oliver’s team, right at their London headquarters.
As you work with the Jamie Oliver Team in the London headquarters, you will see, first-hand, how a successful, intranational non-profit works all the while gaining experience working with nutrition and food policy. Tasks will range from nutrition and recipe research, data analysis, community out-reach to like-minded businesses, JO Facebook page updates, and secretarial tasks.
Hours: This internship offers rolling dates in 6 week increments at a fulltime week of 40 hours.
Interns must be able to work with Excel spreadsheets, Google Docs, Facebook and have public relations and marketing skills as well as a background in nutritional studies and leadership-oriented experience. This position will allow you to strengthen your resume, establish contacts with the JO Team, and introduce you to the world of non- profits. This internship can lead to letters of recommendation from JO Team Members and offer priceless contacts within the Jamie Oliver Team and their hundreds of affiliates and partners.
